Bio

Marco is a member of TGF’s two practice groups, supporting clients with matters relating to both restructuring and insolvency and commercial litigation. He first joined TGF as an articling student, and continues to gain broad experience in both practice areas, working with clients in a variety of industries. In addition to providing research, document review and other key legal support on a range of mandates, Marco has gained exposure to challenging legal issues at various stages of their lifecycles while being mentored by TGF’s established counsel.

Known for being an approachable, collaborative lawyer, Marco is a thorough professional, eager to provide exceptional client service in each mandate. In addition to developing his technical skills, Marco demonstrates his commitment to professional development and learning through informal and formal mentorship opportunities.

While attending law school, Marco developed his debating skills and represented the University of Birmingham at the 2018 Birmingham Law Society debating competition, in which his team finished second overall. In addition to winning an academic award for professional development, Marco volunteered at his alma mater’s pro bono clinic. As part of his undergraduate degree, Marco interned with Canada’s federal Department of Justice in their Tax Law Services division. During this time he was involved in several complex tax litigation files, which sparked his interest in the legal profession.
