COVID-19 - TGF’s message to clients, colleagues and the community

During this time of unprecedented disruption due to COVID-19 we wanted to let you know of the steps that TGF is taking to ensure that our employees remain safe, that we fulfill our duty as a responsible member of the broader community and that we are able to provide uninterrupted service to our clients:

  • Effective March 16, 2020, TGF will be operating with only critical staff onsite.Those who are able to work remotely, including all lawyers and clerks, are available by phone and email.All of our accounting, conflicts search and related systems remain fully operational.

  • Although the Courts in Ontario are suspending all operations effective March 17, 2020 until further notice, urgent matters can be addressed and we have done so in situations of urgency.Matters that had been scheduled are being adjourned and re-scheduled, as appropriate.

  • We will accept electronic service of court documents as appropriate.

The safety of our employees and our community and the ability to continue to deliver excellent service to our clients remain our top priorities.   We will continue to update you should the situation change in any way.
