Bio
Bobbie-Jo is a law clerk for both of TGF’s practice areas: commercial litigation and restructuring & insolvency.
Bobbie-Jo provides assistance to the lawyers in the Commercial Litigation Group throughout the various steps in the litigation process including the preparation of Affidavits of Documents, briefs for arbitrations, examinations and trials, review of transcripts for undertakings, preparation of Bills of Cost and Cost Outlines, appeal and motion materials and electronic materials for the filing and enforcement of judgments. She also has experience with attending motions and various examination proceedings with counsel, electronic discovery and document intensive files.
Bobbie-Jo also provides support to the Insolvency & Restructuring Group, where she assists with receiverships, bankruptcies, reviewing and conducting relevant searches and the preparation of court materials relating to CCAA proceedings and receiverships.
Bobbie-Jo regularly attends courses and seminars to enhance her skill set and understanding of the law. She has also been a panel speaker at the Institute of Law Clerks and sits on the board for the Program Advisory Committee (PAC) at Durham College, wherein Bobbie-Jo also attends to speak to students about her experiences in the legal field and the expectations as a law clerk. Bobbie-Jo is also a member of Women in EDiscovery.
