TGF is proud to announce that Derek Harland is the recipient of the 2019 Insolvency Institute of Canada’s Law Student Writing Award.
Thornton Grout Finnigan articling student Derek Harland is the recipient of the prestigious 2019 Insolvency Institute of Canada’s Law Student Writing Award for his paper entitled “The “Key” to Success? KERPs in Canadian Restructuring Law”. The paper provides a comprehensive review of the growing use of key employee retention plans in Canadian restructuring proceedings and offers several recommendations for their treatment moving forward.
Derek will be presented with the award at the IIC’s annual conference being held October 24-27, 2019 in Naples, Florida.
